Teething & crawling..

Idrees rarely cries at night. he usually sleeps thru out the night, .. (sleeps like a baby?)

wakes once between 3~5am for feeding..

but this past 2 days .. he kept crying like every half hour/an hour.

Is he teething?

He has a bit temperature & flu :( pity him. He'd refused to breastfeed too since yesterday. I think the flu & the teething makes feeding a stressful event for him.

but however!. .. he officially starts crawling :) plus some yoga moves. heheh.. here's some photos to share :)

An update for my baby boy

A special post for darling Idrees, whom I'm missing so much at this moment.. (not that I dont miss Haariz... but err.. I miss both la!)

tomorrow, Idrees will be exactly 6months old.

He have started to crawl bit by bit since last week.. 23 Jan 08 to be exact (i think.. sbb that day cuti, so i have the time to mengadap Idrees a bit more).

Plus, Idrees dah pandai borak.. you know. baby talk. (i think I heard him say mama ..eheh)

If I'm around, & dont pick him up.. dia akan tengok & panggil.. :( so, mmg most of the time, mmg idrees akan 'melekap' kat mama.. ( i do need an MT; mei tai)

Idrees loves breastfeeding - Haariz loves his bottle (my fault for failing BF with Haariz)

Idrees loves his bantal busuk - Haariz dont even have a bantal busuk, towel busuk, or wateva.

Idrees loves to eat - Haariz refuse to eat solid at 4~6 months.. thats why sampai sekarang tak banyak makan. asik susu je.

2008, busy year? or lazy year?

its already 14th Jan 08., & I've posted, only 1 post?

hmm.. am i busy or lazy?

i guess, its both.

Busy.

from 5 staff here in my deparment, we became 3 for the past 1 month.

1 left. another, injured herself ..(fractured her foot) & was on MC for the past one month.

so, no more curik tulang to update blog or fotopages from the office.. (Alhamdulillah, she's back to work today..)

or even i do have the time, I will browse the web on babywearing.

besides being busy at work, I'm busy at home tooo!!

by 7am ++, i've to wake Haariz up for skool. He is so not a morning person ( like me :P)

then, with bibik's help.. she'd make sure Haariz is ready for skool (mandi, uniform, shoes..only) other's I still prefer to do on my own, eg: snack, milk..

If i'm lucky enuf, (haariz tak cranky that morning) by 8.15am, he's already at skool. If not, then 8.30am, I'm still shouting & losing my mind at home. eheheh..

As for Idrees, he's wide awake by 6-7am. He is now my alarm clock. Last feeding would be around 6am++ before I hand him over to bibik or my mum. He will go for morning walk with bibik, or zikir with my mum.. ( he loves to play the tasbih).

once haariz @ skool, I'll either wait for the feeder bus, just next to Haariz's kindy or .. tumpang my sis to W@ngs@ maju LRT. that's around 8.45am.

12 minutes from W@ngs@ maju - @mp@ng park. 9.02am. walk to office, 8 more minutes.

YES. I am always late to work!! ..eheheh .. nasib baik office practise flexi hours.. & boss tak strict. if not, .. hmm .. ntahlah.

I usually wait for hubby after work, I normally I leave the office at 6++pm. & reach home latest by 7.30pm.

7.30 ~ 8.30pm, solat maghrib, dinner, play with the kids, solat...

Idrees bed time is around 9-10pm. so, that 1 hour.. is playtime with Idrees. 10++pm onwards is playtime with Haariz.. Haariz normally sleep very late. kekadang 11+ (tu kira awal) most of the time, 12++.

but sometimes, both fell asleep around 9pm, (sbb petang tak tido..)

kalau both tido awal, then .. I have more time to prepare for next day snack for Haariz & susu (defrost xpressed milk, transfer botol) for Idrees.

If I still have time, I'd mengadap my jahit-menjahit DIY project. As of today, i've made 3 pouches. (I've just completed my third yesterday). next project, is to finish up faten's pouch.

kain dah potong & dah jahit half way.

Lazy.

@ malas. malas sbb gambar2 semua dlm pc kat rumah. kalau update blog without gamba.. mcm tak best. but, nak update blog @ home.. nanti Haariz kacau. sebok nak main game on Playhousedisney website.

other than that.. i dont have any excuse la. (ye ke ni?)

First entry 2008

Happy New Year Everybody!

Its already the 7th day of the year 2008.

Me

I dont have much spare time lately..

been busy with my pouch project (see pic below) & at work; been really2 busy lately.. no extra time to blog, update photos.. etc.

Haariz

today is Haariz official 2nd year of kindergarten. with new hair & new shoes :P

new rules, white school shoes & short hair ..ehehe ..

for the very first time, Haariz was early to school today.. to show off his new hair style.

he was very excited I'd say.

I'll post haariz's photo in school uniform in my next entry ..

Idrees

He's already 5 months & 1 week old today. Had his 5th month jab last saturday. Alhamdulillah, no fever the day after. He'd been gaining weight since he had measles last few weeks. He is now 7.1kg & 67cm (if not mistaken).

Have been giving him bubur nasik once a day lately.. tu yg tembam skarang tu ..eheh.

Plus, he is now a very clingy...he'd cry If I put him down.. Wants to be held most of the time. & only wants mama, if I'm around. :P

well.. thats it for today. (it's 10.30pm) both boys asleep.. Alhamdulillah. Got to go prepare Haariz's stuff for school tomorrow, xpress some milk for Idrees (milk production been low for quite sometime .. :{ ) and get some zzZZzzz ..

Update - Idrees measles

Its Measles a.k.a Campak.

at first, we tot demam biasa. started on Monday10/12/2007. I was on MC, due to very bad back pain..

Went to the Doc, on Sunday, the 2 kids tagged along to the clinic. Tengah Doc examining me, one of the nurse help to hold Idrees for awhile. She said, badan Idrees is a lil bit hot.
To us, both Haariz & Idrees body memang a bit warmer than normal temperature.. (like hubby). So we tot nothing serious.

Then the next day, lagi panas. We suspect just a normal fever. Gave ubat demam to him. For the next 2 days, no improvement.. but still give him ubat demam & lap badan. temperature went down abit..

Wednesday, badan Idrees, really2 hot in the morning. Ubat demam sampai dah habis.. my mum took care of him the whole day.. by petang, temperature dah okay balik. We tot dah okay la..

Then, Thursday.. . When I came back from work, red spots are all over his face. Demam dah tak ada..but the red spots ada kat muka & badan.. kaki & tangan clear. nak bawak jumpa Paed .. doctor dah balik. so we applied bedak sejuk je..then he's okay..

next day, spots still the same. no new spots. no demam..but a lil bit merengek thru out the day. That evening, we took him to the Paed, & confirm yg Idrees kena MEASLES a.k.a Campak.

Saturday, muka dah clear. Badan pon almost clear. but kaki dah start merah2. Gave him ubat tahan gatal.. menangis2 dia every time we gave him the ubat. sian dia..

Sunday, samething.. kaki still merah2. kejap2 dia merengek2 & marah. Muka merah2 tahan gatal.. but Alhamdulillah, at night he sleeps well eventhough gatal.. he sleeps straight 6-7hrs at night (from 9pm~3/4am) wakes once for susu..& then, merengek kejap & lepas tu tido balik..

Hopefully in next few days, Idrees okay la balik.. :)

oh by the way, Haariz took really good care of Idrees... kejap2 dia kiss adik dia. "idrees jangan nangis okay, abg ayiz ada"..

Chicken Pox, Measles, Cacar, Campak??

I'm not sure what it is. Will take Idrees to the paediatrician this evening.

this is the third time I'm typing for this entry. the first one went missing. the second one, I had to restart the pc. by now, I'm not so sure what to post.. ergh.

I've promised to update on the kids.

Haariz @ abang ayiz:

accidents & more accidents.

On the first day of Raya, he scratched his nose. Dont ask me how. I dont have a clue. He was busy playing with all his cousins (15 of them). He didnt cry, so I guess it didnt hurt much.

last week, hubby's ex-collegue's open house, he scrathed his knees. He was walking on the drain cover like this one, which one of them was loose. He fell.. bleed a bit, but cried like he never fell before.. (saje tunjuk manja depan other people maybe??)

then, last Wednesday, he fell in the bathroom while showering with his cousin Aiman. They were playing with bubbles.. (again I dont know how) he fell.. but this time, he fell on his face. Hitting his front teeth. Alhamdulillah nothing serious (but there was blood!). Just imagine if Haariz has no front teeth. Alamak.. :(

I'm planning to take Haariz to the Mickey Mouse Magic show next week. Havent bought the tickets yet. Hopefully by tomorrow. Will be getting the RM55 tix.

Also, I'm planning to take him to my MRSM Kuala Berang Alumni Raya Gathering @ Tasik Perdana on the 11 Nov (Sunday). There'll be clowns & other entertainment. Plus.. mama can meet up with old frens. :)

Idrees @ adik:

Idrees is already 3 months & 3 days old.

He measures 65cm long & weigh 5.8kg. We took him for his 3rd jab last Tuesday (exactly 3 months old).

His 3 months milestone:

-smile & giggle

-play(rattle)

-breastfeed (we had some problems before)

-turn to his side (left / right)

-roll over

Idrees sleeps at 9pm +/- everyday. wakes up at 6am. so, he's my new alarm clock :)

have started working a week a go.. nothing much.. cuma, nak kena adjust time spend with the kids & hubby too.

5.00am - sebelum sahur.. breastfeed kan si Idrees.

5.20am - sahur

6.00am - mandi, subuh .. siap barang haariz for skool, prepare Idrees' susu for the day (prepare bottles & defrost susu etc).

7.00am - breastfeed Idrees again, if he's awake.

7.15am - off to work

8.00am - sampai office

10.00am - pump milk, first session

10.30am - back to work

3.00pm - pump milk, second session.

4.30~5.00pm - balik.

6.00pm - sampai rumah, main2 with the kids, breastfeed Idrees if he' awake. mandi.. etc

7.00pm - buka puasa. solat .. tido kan idrees balik.

8.00pm ~ 9.00pm - spend time ngan Haariz.. sementara adik dia tido.

9.00pm - Idrees bangun. Haariz tgk tv & main dengan adik dia.. Main2 dengan Idrees sampai dia penat

11.00pm - Hubby tido kan Haariz, I will breastfeed & tidokan Idrees.

12.00am - sometimes my day ends here.. but sometime.. idrees nangis..taknak tido till 2am. But, Alhamdulillah.. dah kurang dah dia nangis malam.

Its Rugby World Cup season. so.. dia tgk game whenever he has the time la.. itu pon kalau si Haariz tak mengamuk nak tgk cartoon dia.

Haariz:

Alhamdulillah.. skarang dia ada & follows he's own routine.

7.30~8.00am - bangun tido, siap for skool

8.30am~12.00pm - skool

12.30 ~ 2.00pm - tgk tv, mandi, makan, tido.

6.00pm - mandi.. & main lagi

7.00pm~10.00pm - main, tv, main dengan Idrees, buli mama, buli papa, siap2 nak tido

Haariz since ada adik ni, kekadang tu suka buat things yg kita tak bagi dia buat. saje nak buat kita marah.. I know he wants attention, tapi sometimes timing dia tu yg tak betul .. sabar je la.

but he is a very good big brother, .. tolong buang kan dypers adik, itu pon dia tanya dulu .. "mama, adik shin ke yak?" .. kalau ya-yak dia taknak buang..ehheh

one day, our maid tgh sebuk2 kat dapur.. then suddenly Idrees yg tgh tido dlm buai nangis.. but maid tak dengar.. terus dia hayunkan buai to slow2 ..sampai adik dia tertido balik ..(what an angel ek??)

kalau adik dia nangis, nanti dia cakap "dont cry adik.. abg haariz ada" ..kalau adik dia nangis masa dia balik skool "dont cry adik, abg pegi skool kejappp je" .. kalau tak stop2 nangis "sabaarr.." heheh..

oh ye, btw, Haariz is 99% potty trained dah!.. Alhamdulillah. 1% tu time tido la. itu pon sometimes dia bangun with dry dypers. It happend one day, dia nak buang air besar.. then I said to him, "haariz yayak kat potty la ye.. haariz dah besar" mula2 tu dia taknak.. pujuk dia lagi, last2 dia setuju. tak sampai seminit dia duduk atas potty dia.. tup tup .. dah sudah. eheh.. senang betul dia buang air. since then, baru dia tau .. senang & tak sakit buang air kat potty. besides, I think..dia dah start rasa geli terkena poo dia kat dlm dypers tu. Since that day.. everytime dia nak poo/yayak.. He'll let us know.. & terus ke potty dia..

29 July 2007.
lepas solat isha' hubby kata.. "nak solat hajat la"

then lepas dia solat.. tetiba rasa sakit. then I asked him, "min mintak apa dlm solat hajat tadi?" .. (I cant remember apa dia reply) but.. mainly minta mudahkan bersalin la.. then i said, "ingatkan mintak bersalin cepat.. sbb ni tetiba sakit lak ni" but lepas tu.. hilang sakit tu..

then we all tgk movie Wild Hogs dlm my pantang room. Hubby bawak masuk tv dlm bilik tu..
so kira lepak2 situ la..

tgh2 syok layan movie tu..ada la few times sakit. but still boleh tahan., Habis movie tido.

30 July 2007.
tetiba kul 3am, sakit lagi. ( I phobia skit ngan 3pagi.. sbb masa haariz dulu sakit kul 3 pagi gak). dlm hati, alamak.. dah nak beranak ke? tahan lagi.. sbb sakit tu kejap2 je.

then kul 5am, gerak kan hubby..sbb dah sakit kuat..but masih la boleh tahan. kejutkan tu bukan apa.. nak suh dia bangun prepare makan mandi semua. sbb masa haariz dulu, tak sempat nak makan betul dia.. sampai dekat nak pengsan tak makan satu hari suntuk ..sbb i didnt let him out of my sight even 1 minute masa labour pain dulu.. so this time bagi dia get ready semua dulu.

lepas solat subuh, makan, mandi ..etc dah kul 8 (kejap je dah kul 8)... we all (me, Hubby & mum) head to Damai Hosp Melawati. terus masuk wad. .. masa tu la lif rosak. so kena naik tangga. rasa nak menyumpah2 naik tangga tu.. dah la sakit teramat.

lepas tukar baju semua.. nurse check la dah 'bukak' ke belum .. rupanye baru 1 cm. macam tak percaya je.. sakit punya la kuat..takkan baru 1cm. that was about 9am rasanye. then, 10 am.. air ketuban pecah..atas katil. terus nurse bagi ubat yg bagi buang air besar tu..

lepas je dia bagi ubat tu.. masyaAllah.. sakit nye.. Allah saje la yg tau. Nasib baik ada 2 org je dlm wad tu.. so lantak la .. punya la kuat suara masa tu.. duk baca segala zikir. lagi kuat sakit.. lagi kuat la suara..ehehhe..

nurse check lagi sekali .. tgk2 dah 5-6cm. terus .. diorang suruh get ready untuk masuk labour room.

mcm tak caya lak, kejap je dah bukak banyak.

kul 11am, masuk labour room. tunggu doctor. Doctor pon masa ni la lambat.. org dah la sakit ni..ekkeke

doctor sampai2 je.. tgk2 mmg dah ready nak push. soo.. apa lagi ..push la. push2 takmo gak kuar. sampai lembik.. masa tu dah merayu kat doctor.. dah takde energy nak push dah ni.. tolong la doctor. masa tu, my mum bagi minum air skit.. then mintak kat nurse kot2 ada air glucose, nak bagi tambah energy. Baaru je nurse nak gih amik, doctor suh push lagi sekali.
tup2 kali ni.. Idrees terus kluar ..eheheh.. Alhamdulillah. kalau tidak doctor dah almost nak pakai vacuum/forcep.

Idrees menjenguk dunia ni at 11.53am. dgn berat 3.9kg & 52cm (besar tu tak la besar sgt, but maybe sbb dia tinggi plus berat tulang).

so, itu la cerita nye .. :)

today Idrees dah 52 days old. tak lama lagi mama kena masuk keje.

Alhamdulillah kali ni berjaya mem-breastfeed.. (haariz dulu tak). thanks to faten & ija yg banyak bagi support.. freezer kat rumah dah penuh ngan susu. I'm ready to go back to work .. walaupon dalam hati nak je duk umah jaga Haariz & Idrees..

okay la ppl.. thats all for today. nanti masuk keje update lagi..
